It was the night before Thanksgiving, so East Cameron Folkcore was feeling grateful — more grateful than usual. Conceived in the wake of Jon Pettis' death, the nine-piece steam folk collective emanates the "all in the family" ideal, trading verses and contributing pointed harmonies on songs written with the weight of the world pushing down on Jesse Moore's shoulders. It's a testament to music's healing nature every time ECF gets together; their lifelong method of "Carrying The Fire."
